Query the regulation state of channel.

Parameters:

channel – 1-based output channel.

Returns:

OperatingMode – OFF, CONSTANT_CURRENT, CONSTANT_VOLTAGE, or UNREGULATED.

Raises:

RuntimeError – On a non-numeric register reply or a SCPI error.
